Matt Smedberg 

Greetings and Salutations! I'm Matt Smedberg Owner and Instructor for Mototac Productions LLC, a dedicated company with a passion for duty and service and a drive to positively impact the community. I am a Colorado native born in Denver, CO and my journey began with four transformative years in the United States Marine Corps straight out of high school where I specialized in Communications and Electronics.
 

After my service in the United States Marine Corps, I decided to continue down the path of duty and service. I started my career with a national security company that specializes in Government and Healthcare Security. After being exposed to both sides of the industry, I kept telling myself that there has got to be more out there than just sitting on a post. This is where I found my love and passion for training. I quickly changed my role in the company and was given the opportunity to be a Use of Force Instructor who specialized in Firearms, TASER, Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, and Crisis de-escalation. When I started down this career path, I knew that I had found my true calling in life, and my vision of how I want to be able to deliver my training to those around me. But don't be fooled, I don't just deliver the training, I love nothing more than to attend classes from other instructors around and keep my skills sharpened which allows me to deliver a more quality product everyone.

Beyond my Military and Training background, I discovered a knack for content creation, utilizing my experiences to educate and empower others. Through articles, blogs, and social media platforms, I have begun to create and share insights on situational awareness and preparedness, aiming to enhance safety and security in an ever-changing world. But the content creation does not stop there! My Harley Davidson motorcycle is my way to be free in between classes and training. Ultimately I would love to be able to travel across the country on my bike, but in the meantime, shorter trips are what keep me going and allow me to reset in between trainings.
